CN Direct Makeup Brushes

I needed some new makeup brushes and bad. I think that I had been using the same Elf brushes for the last year, nothing wrong with the them, just need to step up my makeup game.  So as usual when I begin my research I went to my #1 source, YouTube. I typed in best makeup brushes and only a few brands kept popping up. Sigma, Real Techniques and Mac. Well these are wonderful quality brands, but they can be a bit pricey.

I came across a video which was for a dupe of the Sigma brand. Once I clicked and tuned in, I was very intrigued and then I got excited.  This person had shared the brushed that they purchased from this website called CN Direct. I had never heard of this site but apparently it is well known amongst YouTubers.

So I went to the site and looked up the makeup brushes. They are sold in a 5pc Kabuki Face brush set and a 5pc smaller version for the eyes. The price for the Professional face brush set is $6.77and the eye shadow set was $2.07. I ordered both and was able to check out with my PayPal account. When buying online I always make sure I can pay through PayPal, if not then I more than likely will not buy.  There are 4 shipping options available on the as well. I chose the cheapest option which was 15-30 days for about $2.35. I received the brushes in about 3 weeks, which wasn't bad considering the country it's coming from (China).

My First Impression:

Packaging
The brushes were packed really well in bubble wrap. Once you unwrap the bubble wrap you will see the brushes are then individually wrapped as well. I did greatly appreciate that.

Look of  the Product
The brushes are absolutely beautiful in my opinion. I ordered four different sets and colors. I have the: pink & silver, black & silver, white & silver, and finally the black & gold. These brushes do look exactly the Sigma brushes.

My opinion
These brushes are awesome.

Milani Bedazzled Limited Edition Collection | Lipsticks

So it's fair to say that I am a big Milani fan.  This cosmetic line is so "Women of Color" friendly.  I really try to purchase from companies that advertise to a wide diverse
.
This collection has some really beautiful jewel tone colors for fall. The Bedazzled Collection includes, 3 Eyeliners, 3 Matte Lipsticks, and 3 nail polishes. I picked up 2 of the Enchanted Statement colors. demographic.  I am particularly interested in the companies that I give my hard earned money to.

New Mabelline Matte Collection - First Impression & Swatches | Caramel Skintone

Hi Loves! I picked up some of the NEW Mabelline Matte Lipsticks. I have heard so much about them and really wanted to try them. So I went around seeking them around the third week of September, but none of my local drugstores or Wal-mart had them.  Well last week I went to CVS where I did see them and they had just about all the colors, except for what seems to be the most popular, "Divine Wine". A few YouTubers have said that it is a dupe for Mac's "Diva". In CVS I only picked up two shades, mostly due the price, they were $5.99.  As I was shopping in Wal-mart this weekend, I said let me just go check cosmetics and sure enough they had the display and it had just been put out with all 10 colors and they were only $4.97 each. Boom! So I picked up 3 more colors.  In total I picked only 5 from the collection.

Product Claims
Mabelline New York The Creamy Mattes by Color Sensational delivers a burst of bold lip color and a surge of creamy texture in a make-a statement shades, for mattes your lips will love to wear.

In the collection there are 10 colors: Touch of Spice, Lust for Blush, Daringly Nude, Ravishing Rose, Siren in Scarlet. Here are the colors that I have Nude Embrace, Mesmerizing Magenta, Craving Coral, Faint for Fuchsia, and Divine Wine.

This formula is creamy and smooth which I appreciate. I feel like they do look matte despite the smoothness, and I like matte finishes.

A How To: Polishing Tarnished Goodwill Silver Items

I know that I have been sharing a lot of things off topic of fashion and beauty, but this all in an effort to create my "She Space".  This space will be my personal work and film space for my YouTube channel. So for now I am decorating, cleaning, and sharing as I go.

This post is going to be a review of "Wright's Sliver Cream". I did go to YouTube looking for what products people use to polish tarnished Silver pieces. I figured that the many thrifters on YouTube would have shared a remedy.  But to my surprise I only saw videos using Baking Soda, Aluminum Foil, and Boiling water. Well I wanted some thing quick and easy.

On the recommendation of a fellow Thrifter I purchased Wright's Silver Cream.  On the packaging it claims to "clean and polish silver to a brilliant shine. This safe mild formula removes tarnish and keeps silver shinning longer." This cream is Amazing!! It worked fast and really got the job done. Some of my pieces were very tarnished almost black in color.

The product is super easy to use. It come with a sponge which the shape of an octagon, those edges makes it easy to get in corners.  The actual product is a plum colored whipped cream. It is fluffy and light.  A little bit goes along way.

Just taking a small bit on the sponge, I whipped product on the tarnished area and it became polished almost immediately.

I was so happy with the results, I maybe late on knowing about this product, but then again I've never really owned silver dishware either.  Here are some before and after photos.

Here's how I will be incorporating these pieces into my Shabby Chic "She Space" décor.
